5th Conference of the Peking University US Alumni Associations

For the purpose of enhancing alumni communication and strengthening alumni relations, Peking University Alumni Association will hold its Fifth Conference of Peking University US Alumni Associations in New York City from Saturday December 3 to Sunday December 4, 2011. More than fifty delegates from Peking University and its alumni associations across North America plus more than one hundred fifty alumni and friends from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the rest of United States will gather for part of the conference, including forum, reception and dinner, on Saturday December 3, 2011, at Harvard Club in New York City. All alumni and friends are cordially invited subject to capacity limit and advance registration.

Founded in 1898, Peking University was originally known as the Imperial University of Peking and is commonly known as Beijing Daxue or Beida in Mandarin. A long time leader in higher education and scientific research, Peking University has continually played the essential role of pioneers in the course of China's modernization.
